Exista doua verbe need.Unul are intelesul de a avea nevoie, iar celalalt

are intelesul de trebuie:

My brother needs a new pair of shoes.

We needn't come to the office tomorrow, but the manager must.

Need poate aparea in propozitii afirmative impreuna cu adverbe ca

hardly

She hardly need mention his name , since we already know it.

Se poate exprima necesitatea sau obligatia

Do I need to go there every day?

You must needs see that man today.
